Hospital Ministry

The Hospital Ministry brings spiritual aid and comfort to the patient. The visit is usually made by a Deacon. If the patient is seriously ill and wishes to go to confession or have the anointing of the oils, the Deacon will contact a Priest to make a visit.

The Deacon visits the Hospital Every Monday through Friday and is on call at any time for emergencies. He will bring Communion and give the patient a blessing or just visit with him/her.

When admitted to the hospital, make sure to register as a Catholic. The Deacon picks up a list of the Catholics in the hospital, so he will know who the patient is and what room he/she is in.
