Thank You to The Parishioners of St. George Catholic Church: I wish to express my love and gratitude for all who have prayed for me following my hip replacement surgery. I also wish to thank those who sacrificed their time and energy by taking over my spiritual commitments to our Catholic Community at St. George while I have been recovering. To say THANK YOU doesn't seem enough. So, to all of you, I say I love you all very much, and pray for you too. Cub Scout Pack 4802 Sixteen years ago, Father Kuzy said "Yes" to sponsoring the first non-denominational scout unit in Washington County for boys, grades 1-5. Five families formed Community Pack 4802 in January,1996. Over these years, Cub Pack 4802 has taught young boys character development, citizenship, and personal fitness. The Pack is divided by grade levels into "Dens" that usually meet once a week. Each Den, with the help of the Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader and parents, work on age appropriate activities and skills. The Pack then meets once a month so the boys can join in a flag ceremony, tell what they did for the month, and receive awards that they have earned. The scouts participate in wholesome activities such as Pinewood Derby races, rain gutter regattas, bowling, day hikes, family camp-outs and service projects. For more information about our Pack, call Jackie Comeau at 435-652-3882. Retreat for Women The Women's Group is planning a Lenten retreat for Saturday, March 24.
